Dabangg still have more surprises
"What we have seen so far is just the first look so that a certain interest level is generated amongst the audience. If we go by the results, we have pretty much succeeded in that as well", says Arbaaz who is going all out to promote and pitch the film amongst the audience, "This film is about Salman playing a particular character and we were sure that this from the very beginning. This is why we have targeted his fan base and given them something to cheer about. This is a Salman Khan centric film and we wanted audience to get the true flavour."
However, he quickly adds that when audience will step into the theaters, they would have a pleasant surprise in store to see many more actors as well who have an important role to play in the film.
"Frankly speaking, we were so tempted to show them all in the promo", says Arbaaz, "When we have actors like Vinod Khanna, Dimple Kapadia and Om Puri in the film, there is temptation to bring them all together. However, as I said, this is a part of the marketing strategy. There is lot more about the film that would be revealed towards the release."
Well, a certain Mahie Gill can take solace from Arbaaz's statement here. After all she is also one of the female attractions in DABANGG which could well be her big calling card after offbeat films like DEV D and GULAAL.
