Debutant Directors with Naseeruddin Shah
George Bernard Shaw had once said that the actual battle of survival begin not in the youth but in the old age.
A similar thing is happening in the case of 60-year-old Naseeruddin Shah. He is being offered roles by debutant directors by the plenty.
Shah is teaming with his wife Ratna Pathak Shah in an upcoming film THE COFFIN MAKER that has debutant director Veena Bakshi at the helm.
The actress will play Shah's reel wife in the film that will be shot in Goa.
Both the husband-wife duo had done two films together earlier; the first was THE PERFECT MURDER that also had their son Imaad and JAANE TU YA JAANE NA.
Shah has recently signed two other films. One is MICHAEL directed by Vibhu Dasgupta and the other still untitled to be directed by Anand Gandhi in which one story would be told from four different perspectives.
Shah, who recently suffered a health scare, is happy that new directors are coming forward to sign him.
