HELLO DARLING is up for release and as is known by now, Eesha Koppikhar plays a Haryanvi girl called Satvari Chautala in the film. Since she has played a girl from Haryana - Phoolwati - in SALAAM E ISHQ earlier, one wonders if it was time to revisit her act all over again. After all her role in both the films has a comic overtone and yet again, she carries a 'behenji' persona.
"Well, if you ask me about the dressing up in HELLO DARLING then let me clarify that the small town look is only during the initial part of the film," says Eesha who states that her character takes a glam route in the latter part of the film, "Once she meets other chic girls at her workplace, she goes through this entire modernisation process."
Meanwhile, what does she has to say about the similarities that her role may be having with SALAAM E ISHQ?
"Arrey bilkul different hai yahan par. In SALAAM E ISHQ I had just about 4-5 scenes. Here in HELLO DARLING toh achcha khaasa role hai," smiles Eesha, "Satvari is someone who comes from Panipat and has a thick Haryanvi accent. In fact, to help me with the accent, there was this person who was always on the sets to help me get it right. Also, there is a little bit of Punjabi and Hindi mixed as well."
Well, we would wait to hear that and more once the film hits the screen on 27th August.
